EMERGENCY 20 is an accident response simulator game. Direct various emergency services as they respond to car crashes, explosions and more in this collection of campaigns from previous titles.
On the way
Comprising of missions from over 20 years of Emergency games, EMERGENCY 20 offers a huge range of content, all revamped with HD graphics. The core of the series, individual scenarios with set objectives, returns with extra modes like free play and multiplayer. Each emergency plays out as a contained level, with players in control of fire, medical, police and technical services. Decisions must be made based on the severity and danger on hand, with scores based on how well the danger is handled. This gameplay is frantically engaging thanks to a real time ticking clock to disaster, challenging players to learn how to respond correctly. Featuring campaigns from the 2016 and 2017 versions alongside classic levels, EMERGENCY 20 does well for value but unfortunately fails in other areas. Bugs from the 2016 and 2017 versions have not been corrected and simply ported over, causing some emergency personal to glitch out and forcing a reset. Thankfully, these bugs are limited.
EMERGENCY 20 is a solid choice for new players to jump into the series. The sheer amount of content on offer make it a decent game, but the technical aspects are disappointing.
